Dear Events Team,
My family came to the outdoor concert in Mill Park on Friday. I want to thank the volunteers who helped my father find a seat close to the entrance. He cannot walk far, and the short route from the gate made the evening much easier for him. The concert also started exactly on time, which was useful because we had booked a taxi home.
We enjoyed the music, especially the final group. However, it was difficult to hear the singer from our seats. We could hear the instruments clearly, so I do not think the whole sound system was too quiet. Perhaps the microphone needed to be checked. Some people moved closer to the stage, but my father preferred to stay seated.
The information email said that visitors could buy food in the park. We arrived at six thirty and found that all the hot meals were already sold out. We bought sandwiches instead. They were fresh, but a note about limited hot food would have helped us plan. The water station was easy to find, and volunteers filled our bottles without a long wait.
Please also consider adding a light near the path to the taxi collection point. We used our phone lights to see the last few steps. We would like to return next year. These are small changes that could make a good event even more comfortable.
Kind regards, Leah
