Joining a library

Lies das originale englische Material und antworte mit Belegen. Die Stufe ist eine redaktionelle Orientierung, kein zertifiziertes Ergebnis.

Welcome to Oak Street Library. You can join on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon. Bring a photo card with your name and a letter showing your home address. You do not need to bring a photograph. Your first library card is free. A new card costs two pounds if you lose the first one.

You can take home four books at a time. Keep them for three weeks. To keep a book for longer, telephone us before the return date. You cannot keep it longer if another reader is waiting for it. Return books to the desk, not to the box outside. That box is for used batteries.

Our quiet room is upstairs. There are six computers downstairs, beside the magazines. Computer sessions last thirty minutes. Tell a member of staff if you need help. Please eat outside, but you can bring water in a bottle. Children under ten must stay with an adult.
