Two courses at West Street Centre Want to learn something new? These courses both begin on 7 May and last four weeks. Book online by 30 April. Places cannot be reserved by telephone.

Everyday photography Tuesdays, 6–7.30 p.m. £36 for the whole course. Learn to take better photos of people and places. You can use a phone camera; an expensive camera is not necessary. Bring your own device and a notebook. The first two classes are indoors. In the last two classes, we practise outside in the park beside the centre. If it rains, we stay inside. Suitable for complete beginners. Maximum: twelve learners.

Simple cooking Tuesdays, 6–8 p.m. £52 for the whole course. Learn to prepare easy evening meals. The price includes the ingredients and use of the kitchen equipment. Bring a container to take your meal home. No cooking experience is needed. Tell us about any food allergies when you book, so the teacher can plan safe alternatives. Maximum: eight learners.

You may book only one course because the class times overlap. If your first choice is full, you can join its waiting list or book the other course if it has space.
